Our Story

From a market table
to your morning ritual.

Kyoto Brew started where every honest brand should — face to face. Two years, dozens of Arizona farmers markets, and a whole lot of whisking taught us exactly what people want from their matcha: smooth, vibrant, never bitter.

So we kept it simple. Single-origin organic Japanese green tea, stone-ground to a fine ceremonial grade and sealed in a tin that keeps it fresh. Nothing added. Nothing hidden. Just real matcha — USDA Certified Organic, verified in Japan by JACERT.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

How fast will my matcha arrive?

Orders ship from Arizona within 1–2 business days. Most US orders arrive within 3–5 days of shipping.

Is it really Japanese matcha?

Yes — single-origin organic Japanese green tea, shaded, hand-picked, and stone-ground in Japan to a fine ceremonial grade. It's USDA Certified Organic, verified in Japan by JACERT.

How much caffeine is in a bowl?

A standard bowl (about 2g of matcha) has roughly 60–70mg of caffeine — a bit less than a cup of coffee. The difference is L-theanine, a natural amino acid in matcha that smooths the caffeine into calm, steady focus instead of a spike and crash.

How should I store it?

Keep the tin sealed tight, away from heat, light, and moisture. For peak color and flavor, enjoy your tin within a couple of months of opening — though it rarely lasts that long.
